18 Oct. 2016 - 07 Feb. 2017
Tuesdays 12:30 p.m. - 2.00 p.m. Seminarhaus - SH 3.104, Campus Westend
Course Content:
Basic insights into legal thinking are essential even for non-lawyers when being confronted with a wide range of daily artifacts stretching from the law on the books over to judgments, contracts or professional legal opinions. Rather than focusing on an in-depth knowledge of isolated issues, this lecture seeks to provide an overview over various facets of “the law,” its contextual role and way of application. Case studies will cover representative aspects of commercial, criminal and public law from a functional and comparative perspective.
